A regional title can obscure who actually performs the work. Explain the responsibilities and supporting operation clearly when preparing an L-1A new-office proposal.
Show what the manager will direct
Identify decisions and responsibilities, including work carried out by local teams. A broad remit does not prove that the role is primarily managerial or executive. Keep routine operational duties visible.
Support the one-year plan
A new office requires sufficient physical premises and, for L-1A, an operation able to support the managerial or executive role within one year. Initial new-office approval is limited to one year. Preserve the records behind the plan rather than relying on ambition alone. The new-office definition is a U.S. operation doing business for less than one year. Verify the qualifying corporate relationship and ongoing business in the United States and another country; for this L-1A proposal, the continuous full-time foreign year within the relevant three years must have been managerial or executive.
Retain actual results
Track staffing, responsibilities and operations as they develop. The qualifying organization and foreign-employment conditions remain relevant. Keep commercial changes and immigration dates separately documented so later preparation uses the real history.
